Chesa Altrova

A home in St. Moritz

Chesa is the Romansh word for home. That is what this place is meant to be — not a rental, not a unit, but a private apartment in St. Moritz Bad, prepared personally for each stay and kept with consistent care throughout the year.

Ninety metres from the lake. Seven hundred from the ski lift. A bus stop at the door. The apartment is bright, quiet and fully equipped — enough space to feel at home, enough simplicity to let the Engadin do the rest.

Seasonal highlights

St. Moritz has two distinct characters, and Chesa Altrova is well placed for both.

In winter, the valley hosts some of Europe's most distinctive events — Snow Polo and White Turf on the frozen lake, The ICE, and some of the most reliable skiing in the Alps. The Corviglia lift is a seven-minute walk.

In summer, the same landscape changes register entirely. The trails open, the lake comes alive, and the St. Moritz Jazz Festival fills the evenings. June and September in particular reward those who know when to come — the light is long, the crowds are manageable, and the mountains feel closer.
